Patient Assistance Program

The usual cost is $325 per session - less than most other locations, and we do offer a sliding scale for patients in need of treatment.

Additionally, in order to assist our customers in providing NeuroStar TMS Therapy to patients that are in need of treatment, but do not have health insurance and/or the financial resources to pay for it, Neuronetics has developed the NeurStar TMS Therapy Patient Assistance Program. Below are the provisions of the program:

• Neuronetics will provide SenStar® Treatment Links for up to 10 indigent patients per site per year


• SenStars are limited to 26 per patient (20 for acute treatment and 6 for taper)


• In order to obtaint he SenStar allotment for each patient, the physician or representative of the clinic and the patient must complete and sign a form, provided by Neuronetics, which states:
  
  • The pateint does not have the financial means to pay for the treatement
    • No health insurance (private insurance, Medicare,
      Medicaid, etc.)
    • Household income less than $42,000 per year
  • The physician/clinic will not charge the patient for NeuroStar TMS Therapy
    
  • The pateint will not seek reimbursement from any third party
  
  
• If a patent needs more than 26 treatments (e.g., symptoms are improving bu hasn't yet achieved a significant response), the physician can petition in writing for up to 10 more SenStars for treatment.


• If a patient needs re-treatment at some point in the future, the physician/clinic must reapply on their behalf. This patient would count against the limit of 10 patients per site per year.


• Neuronetics may change or stop the Program at any time and for any reason.
